One of the biggest disadvantages that the material age has inflicted upon us is the attitude of judging people by what they wear and what accessories they carry. If we see someone approaching with a Gucci bag and a latest designer outfit by Armani, we normally put up an extremely good opinion about them. I don’t object the fact that a good impression is made at the first sight by the clothes you wear but in accepting this clause, we also agree with the statement that just because the poor cannot afford good clothes, they are naturally dumb or don’t possess the mind to think and act like normal people.
We should always judge people by their inner capabilities and character and not by how they look and what they wear. This is infact a discrimination which must be discouraged or it will enable us to ignore the good and talent in people who cannot present themselves well or do not possess the art of dressing impressively.
Everyone of us has some faults, but the better person within us love people for who they are and not for what they wear.
